The Town has issued a press release regarding West Nile Virus being detected in Amherst.
The water is fine. The new tests came back negative for contaminants.
The Town issued a press release on Friday afternoon (8/29) regarding contaminants found in the water supply. Saturday test results will determine if a “Boil Water” order will be put into effect, and if so, residents would be notified by the Reverse 911 automated phone system.

With a week off between meetings, we again received two packets for this meeting – a small one on 8/1 and a regular one on 8/8.
The special election previously scheduled for September 16th has been rescheduled by the Select Board for November 4th.

The Select Board will meet BRIEFLY at 7:20 p.m. on May 28th in the Middle School auditorium.

With Town Meeting beginning on Monday night, April 28th, the packets for both the Monday and Wednesday Select Board meetings were delivered together. The Select Board meets at 6:15 p.m. in the Middle School music room before every session of Town Meeting.
